Set up Scripe on Business

This page is for you if you are on Business: a company or an agency running LinkedIn for several people or clients. It lists the steps Business adds on top of a team setup. Not sure which plan you are on? Settings > Billing shows it.

The steps are for the admin who sets things up. Colleagues and clients you invite follow Invited by your team instead.

Your setup

  1. Book your onboarding call

On Business, a banner at the top of your workspace offers a free 1:1 onboarding call: press Book free 1:1 onboarding call. It is the quickest way to get topics and a first calendar in place.

  2. Set up your first workspace

Create the workspace with your company name and website, fill in the company documents in the knowledge base, and add the profiles you run. Each Full profile uses a Full seat; company pages use none. See Set up your Advanced workspace: the same steps apply.

  3. Add a workspace per client or business unit

If you are an agency, give every client its own workspace, so strategy, knowledge and results never mix. Open the workspace menu, Switch workspace, then Add workspace; it is billed on your subscription. See Scripe for agencies.

  4. Bring in colleagues who only engage

For people who should like and comment on your posts but not write their own, use Light profiles. On Settings > Users & Profiles, an admin shares the Light invite link; anyone who connects LinkedIn through it uses a Light seat. See Users and roles.

  5. Give everyone the right role

Admins work on every profile, Members on the profiles assigned to them, and Clients review and see results only. On Business you can change a role later from the user's row. See Users and roles.

  6. Shape your workflow

Replace the default post statuses with your own stages, and turn on Require review workflow if nothing may go out unapproved. Create labels to tag posts, ideas and media. See Post status and Labels.

  7. Set the company's voice

In Settings > Content & branding > Tone of Voice, write the rules and the footer every profile in the workspace follows, while each person keeps their own style. See Organization tone of voice.

  8. Plan campaigns and track clicks

Group a launch or event into a campaign, and turn the links you post into tracked links to see which posts and profiles bring the clicks.
