This page is for you if you are on Solo: one person, one personal profile, writing for yourself. It lists only the steps Solo includes, in the order that gets you to a first scheduled post fastest. Not sure which plan you are on? Settings > Billing shows it.

Your setup

  1. Finish onboarding and connect LinkedIn

Onboarding creates your workspace and asks for your first profile. Choose Connect LinkedIn: it is what lets Scripe publish for you and read your impressions and profile views. Pasting your profile URL works too, and you can connect later from the profile's settings. See Set up your workspace.

  2. Tell Scripe who you are

Open the knowledge base and fill in your profile's You document: who you are, your credibility points, your opinions and your stories. Add what your company does and who you want to reach. Scripe uses all of it in every idea and post. See The Scripe Method and Knowledge base.

  3. Set your posting goal

In Strategy settings, set how many posts a week you want and check the suggested content mix. Your Home then shows the goal lane by lane. See Content strategy.

  4. Collect your first ideas

Open Explore and save two or three posts from your niche, and look at what For you suggests. Install the Scripe Clipper to save articles and posts while you read.

  5. Write and schedule your first post

Ask Scripe to write a post from one of those ideas, edit it in the editor and schedule it. See Ask Scripe and Schedule and publish.

Ideas come to you away from your desk too. Connect WhatsApp and send a voice note; Scripe turns it into an idea. See WhatsApp.
