Labels

Labels are your own tags for content: "Product update", "Hiring", "Event recap", whatever your team needs to tell posts apart. You define them once for the whole workspace on Settings → Labels, everyone applies them to posts, ideas and media, and the Posts list and the Ideas board filter by them.

Labels are part of Business. On other plans the page shows what labels do and an upgrade button. See Plans.

How it works

• One set per workspace. Every profile in the workspace uses the same labels, so a "Hiring" label means the same thing on every colleague's posts.
• Groups keep related labels together, for example a "Product" group holding "Demo" and "Release". A label belongs to at most one group.
• Each label has a name, a colour and an optional description saying what it is for. The table shows when each label was Last applied and Created.
• Every user except Clients can create and change labels.

Managing labels

• New label and New group add them. Edit a name, description or colour in the table.
• Select several labels to Move to Group, Remove from Group or Delete Selected at once.
• Deleting a label removes it from every post that carries it. The posts themselves stay.
• Deleting a group keeps its labels; they are no longer grouped.

Using labels

Add labels to a post, idea or media item from its properties. Then filter by them: on Posts (list view) and on the Ideas board, add a Labels filter from the filter bar.
