Invited by your team or agency
This page is for you if a colleague or an agency invited you to their Scripe workspace. You need no plan of your own: the workspace's plan covers you, and users are never billed. Your steps depend on the role in your invitation.
Join the workspace
Open the invitation
Follow the link in the invitation email. Sign up, or sign in, with the same email address the invitation went to; an invitation belongs to that address.
Press Join
Onboarding opens on You've been invited. Press Join and you land in the workspace. If you instead see Request to join, your email domain matches a workspace you were not invited to, and an admin of it has to accept you. See Set up your workspace.
What your role lets you do
| Admin | Member | Client | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Profiles you work on | Every profile in the workspace | The profiles assigned to you | Reviews posts on the profiles assigned to you |
| Ideas, posts and media | Yes | Yes, for your profiles | No |
| Workspace settings and inviting users | Yes | No | No |
Not sure which role you have? An admin can tell you; see Users and roles.
If you are a Member
You write for your own profile inside the company's workspace.
- Find your profile. Open it from Profiles in the sidebar. If you see nothing, no profile is assigned to you yet; ask an admin to assign yours.
- Connect your LinkedIn. If your admin added your profile by its URL, open the profile's settings, then General, and press Connect LinkedIn. Only you can do this, because it is your LinkedIn sign-in. See LinkedIn connection.
- Fill in your positioning. In the knowledge base, your profile's folder holds your You document: who you are, your credibility, your opinions and your stories. It is what makes posts sound like you rather than like the company. See The Scripe Method.
- Write your first post with Ask Scripe. If your workspace requires approval, the post goes to review before it can be scheduled; you see that on the post. See Ask Scripe.
For the weekly routine, see Running your team's LinkedIn in Scripe.
If you are a Client
Your agency runs your LinkedIn, and you review and see results. You see your Home, your posts in the calendar and the list, and your analytics; the agency's drafts and planning pages stay with them.
- Connect your LinkedIn if the agency asks you to, so it can publish for you and read your impressions. See Done for you.
- Review what is waiting for you. Posts the agency asks you to review appear under Waiting for your review on your Home. You approve or reject them in the Scripe mobile app.
See What a client sees for the full list.
If you are an Admin
You can do everything in the workspace, including inviting others. Start with the setup guide for your workspace's plan: Advanced or Business (a Solo workspace has one user, so nobody is invited to one). Settings > Billing shows which plan it is, if you manage billing.
If you joined through a Light invite link
A Light invite link adds you with a Light profile: your LinkedIn is used for engagement and analytics, and you do not create content. Connecting LinkedIn through the link is all you need to do; an admin activates your profile. See Team engagement.
