Running your team's LinkedIn in Scripe

This page is for teams that post on several LinkedIn profiles from one workspace: an admin who sets direction, and members who write for their own profile. It shows who does what in a normal week and where each step lives. For the one-time setup, see A team admin's first day.

The weekly loop

  1. Admin: set direction once, adjust each period

Settings › Strategy holds the workspace's content topics and the goal period. Assign each topic to the profiles it fits; every assigned profile then gets ideas for it in its own For you. Each profile's content mix (how its posts split across Reach, Trust and Convert) sits in that profile's settings. See Content strategy.

  2. Members: pick ideas

Each member opens their profile's Home. The goal card shows the posts still missing this period; pressing one opens Create your next post with that lane applied. Ideas come from For you and Explore, and from what the member adds to the Ideas board. A team lead can also create an idea for several profiles at once.

  3. Members: write

From an idea's Create posts, or by asking Ask Scripe. Scripe writes in the profile's own tone of voice and draws on the workspace's knowledge base. See Ask Scripe and The post editor.

  4. Review

In the editor, Reviewer asks a colleague to review the post, with an optional due date. The post moves to a review status, and the reviewer sees it under Waiting for your review on Home and in the Reviews tab of the notifications. The assigned reviewer opens the post in the Scripe mobile app and presses Approve or Reject; a rejection is the signal to revise and ask again. See When review is required.

  5. Schedule

Publish in the editor offers Next available (the profile's next posting time), Now and Set date and time. The calendar shows every profile's posts together. See Scheduling.

  6. Engage

With team engagement, colleagues' profiles like and comment on each other's new posts. Each action is Off, Request (waits for approval) or On, set for the workspace in Settings › Engagement and adjustable per profile.

  7. Measure

Analytics on the workspace shows every profile together. The Leaderboard group compares the team, and teams from Settings › Teams narrow every view to one group. See Analytics.

When review is required

An admin can turn on Require review workflow under Settings › Post status. From then on, Scripe's agent, the chat and the Posts board refuse to schedule or publish a post until it has an approved review. The refusal says what is missing and who the assigned reviewer is.

Two rules decide whether it applies:

  • Plan. Requests and reviews need Advanced or Business. Turning the requirement on is on Business. A workspace whose plan cannot produce an approval is never blocked by it.
  • Which review counts. A pending or rejected review on the post's current review stage blocks it. An approved review lets it through, even if the post was moved back to a draft afterwards.

Limits and plans

  • Inviting users, more Full profiles, review requests, team engagement and team analytics: Advanced or Business.
  • Requiring an approved review, custom post statuses, labels, campaigns and changing roles after an invite: Business.

See Plans.
