Delete your data from Scripe

Last updated: October 2026

Scripe GmbH stores the data of a social network account you connect to Scripe only to publish your posts, show you how they performed and let you answer the replies they receive. Today you can connect LinkedIn. As we add X, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, Mastodon, YouTube and TikTok, the same rules apply to them.

This page explains how to remove that data, and everything else Scripe holds about you. The legally binding rules are in our Privacy Notice.

Disconnect one account

LinkedIn: open the profile's settings (the gear next to the profile in the sidebar), then General → Disconnect. Scripe stops accessing LinkedIn for that profile at once. The profile's posts and settings stay in Scripe until you delete the profile (see below).

Networks we add from now on: open the account in Scripe's settings and click Disconnect. We delete its access tokens at once, and the posts, figures and replies we retrieved from that network within 24 hours for X, within 7 days for YouTube and without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days, for every other network.

Posts you already published stay on the network. Scripe never unpublishes anything unless you ask it to.

Remove Scripe from the network's side

You can also revoke Scripe's access in the network's own settings. We then delete the same data on the same schedule.

  • LinkedIn: Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Permitted services → Scripe → Remove
  • Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → Scripe → Remove
  • Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Scripe → Remove
  • Threads: Settings → Account → Website permissions → Scripe → Remove
  • X: Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → Scripe → Revoke access
  • YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions → Scripe → Remove access
  • TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions → Scripe → Remove
  • Bluesky and Mastodon: remove Scripe under your server's connected apps or authorised apps.

The menu names are the networks' own and can change. If you cannot find Scripe there, disconnect the account in Scripe or write to us.

Delete one profile

Delete profile at the bottom of a profile's settings (General) deletes the profile and all of its data in Scripe.

Delete everything

To delete your Scripe account and all data in it, open Settings → My account → Security & access → Delete account (see Security & access). Posts you already published stay on the networks. A few records are kept for legal reasons, for example invoices, which tax law requires us to keep; the details are in our Privacy Notice.

Ask us

Write to privacy@scripe.io from the e-mail address of your Scripe account, or by post to Scripe GmbH, – Data Protection –, Bismarckstraße 68a, 12157 Berlin, Germany. We answer within one month (Art. 12 (3) GDPR).

Deletion requests sent through Meta

If you asked Facebook, Instagram or Threads to have your data deleted from Scripe, Meta gave you a confirmation code. You can check its status at https://scripe.io/data-deletion/status?code=YOUR-CODE.
