Scripe for agencies
This page is for agencies, ghostwriters and consultants who run LinkedIn for clients. With Scripe you keep every client in its own workspace, so their strategy, voice, knowledge and results never mix, and you switch between them without logging out. Your client can review what you prepared and see their own results, without seeing anything else.
How it fits together
- Your agency workspace holds the subscription. On its Billing page, Sub-workspaces lists every client workspace your subscription pays for, each with its profile count. The agency workspace is marked (Root).
- One workspace per client. Each has its own profiles, strategy, knowledge base, branding, tone of voice, posts and analytics. People from two different clients never see each other's data. People from one company belong in the same workspace.
- Profiles are seats. Every profile in a client workspace your agency pays for counts on your subscription, as a Full seat or, for engagement-only employees, a Light seat (engagement and analytics, no content creation). See Plans.
- Roles per workspace. In each client workspace you decide who is an Admin, a Member or a Client. Your client usually gets the Client role: they review posts and see results, and nothing else. See What a client sees.
Two ways to work with a client
You create the client's workspace on your subscription, write and schedule, and the client reviews and reads results. Set it up.
The client buys their own plan and invites you. You collaborate inside their workspace; they pay Scripe directly. Set it up.
For a company's own employee program, see Team setup.
Creating and switching client workspaces
Open the workspace menu (your workspace's name at the top of the sidebar), then Switch workspace. The submenu lists the workspaces you are a member of, and Add workspace creates a new one on your subscription.
- Creating a workspace needs a plan with multiple workspaces (Business), and you have to manage billing for the agency's workspace. Otherwise Scripe answers "Only an administrator of the main workspace can add workspaces."
- The new workspace asks for the company name, and optionally lets everyone with your client's email domain join without an invitation. Inviting users follows straight after.
- You become a member of every workspace you create.
Your reach as the paying owner
As the person whose subscription pays for a client workspace, you have Admin rights in it whether or not you were added as a member, on the dashboard and through the API and MCP. The workspace switcher only lists workspaces you are a member of, so add yourself (or keep the membership you got when you created it) if you want to switch to it from the menu.
Stopping billing for a client
On the agency workspace's Billing page, Stop billing takes a client workspace off your subscription. Nothing is deleted: the workspace, its profiles, its posts and its users stay as they are, and it keeps appearing in your workspace list. Your subscription is reduced by that workspace's seats.
What changes for the client:
- Their workspace moves to the Free plan at once, unless it has a paid plan of its own. Features their plan does not include are locked from then on; there is no grace period.
- To keep working without interruption, the client buys their own plan from their workspace's Billing page.
- To delete the workspace and everything in it for good, switch to it and use Settings › General.
Only someone who manages billing for the agency's workspace can stop billing, and the agency workspace itself can't be taken off.
Limits and plans
- Several workspaces, Light seats, roles and permissions: Business.
- An existing workspace (for example one a client already paid for) can't be moved onto your subscription from the dashboard. Write to hello@scripe.io and Scripe moves it.
