Done with you: working in a client's own workspace

This page is for agencies and consultants who work alongside a client: the client buys their own Scripe plan, you join their workspace, and you set up and run the content system together. The client pays Scripe directly; you earn commission when they sign up through your partner link.

If you run the client's LinkedIn on your own subscription instead, follow Done for you.

What to send your client

Copy this and add your partner link and email address:

Ask for the Admin role. An Admin works on every profile and can open the workspace's strategy, branding and tone of voice; a Member works only on the profiles assigned to them. When you invite yourself as Admin, the client can switch off your billing access before sending the invite, which is usually what both sides want.

If you are not yet a partner, apply for the partner program first; a client who signs up without your link can be added to your referrals by writing to hello@scripe.io.

Open the client's workspace

Once you accept the invitation, the client's workspace appears in your workspace menu under Switch workspace. That is also how you move between clients.

The first session together

  1. Check the LinkedIn connection

The client's profile should show as connected. If the connection lapses later, Scripe emails the client; see LinkedIn connection.

  2. Set the strategy

In Settings › Strategy: the content topics, the profile's content mix across Reach, Trust and Convert, and the goal period. See Content strategy.

  3. Fill the knowledge base

The company and target-audience documents first, then the material Scripe should draw on: sales decks, case studies, website pages, persona descriptions, recordings of calls and webinars. Connected sources such as Google Drive, GitHub and Granola keep themselves in sync. See Knowledge base and Synced sources.

  4. Set the tone of voice

From the client's own past posts. See Tone of voice.

  5. Write and schedule the first post together

Pick an idea from For you or ask Ask Scripe, open the draft in the editor, change it together, then Publish with Next available, Now or Set date and time. Save in content calendar only places it on the calendar; it does not schedule it on LinkedIn. See Scheduling.

  6. Show where things live

Home for the goal and results, Posts for the calendar and list, Ideas for saved ideas, Analytics for results. If the client wants a fixed approval flow, set up post statuses under Settings › Post status (Business). See Post status.

  7. Agree on next steps

For example: the client plans two or three posts before the next call and assigns you as reviewer with Reviewer in the editor.

For You ideas are rebuilt every 14 days, the next time someone opens the page. Ideas from sources the client follows arrive whenever a source publishes something that fits. Don't promise the client new ideas on a fixed day.
