Connect WhatsApp to a profile and every voice memo or text message you send to Scripe becomes an idea on that profile's Ideas board, with the transcript as its description. It is the quickest way to catch a thought on the go and come back to it when you write.
WhatsApp is available on every plan, for profiles and company pages, to every user except Clients. Light profiles have no WhatsApp, since they do not create content.
Connecting
Open the profile's WhatsApp settings
Open the profile's settings and choose WhatsApp. See Profile settings.
Scan the QR code
Press Add Connection. Scan the QR code with WhatsApp on your phone. The code expires after a few minutes; if it does, close it and start again.
Send the connection message
WhatsApp opens with a message ready. Send it, and Scripe confirms the connection in the chat.
Sending ideas
Send a voice memo or type a message in the chat with Scripe, from the WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Web. Scripe transcribes a voice memo, gives the idea a headline, and adds it to the profile's Ideas board with a WhatsApp label, owned by you. Scripe confirms in the chat, or tells you when something went wrong so you can send it again.
You also answer content check-in questions in the same chat: when someone asks you something about an idea, reply in WhatsApp and the answer lands on that idea.
One number, one profile
A WhatsApp number is active on one profile at a time. Connecting it to another profile moves it there: new messages go to the new profile, and the ideas already sent stay where they are.
Managing connections
- In the profile's settings, WhatsApp lists the phones connected to that profile, with Remove Connection.
- Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp uploads lists every connected phone across all profiles of the workspace, with the profile each is connected to.
Removing a connection stops new messages. Ideas already sent stay on the board.
