Integrations

Settings → Integrations lists everything Scripe connects to, in one catalog: messaging apps that bring Scripe to where your team already talks, AI assistants that can work with your Scripe content, and automations that send Scripe's events to your other tools. The same catalog opens from the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar under Integrations.

The AI assistants and automations need a plan that includes API access, Advanced or higher. On Solo, and for anyone who is not an Admin, they are not listed at all. See Plans.

Connecting Claude (MCP)

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Notion and any other host that speaks MCP connect to the same Scripe server. You sign in with your Scripe account; there is no API key to copy.

  1. Copy the server URL

Open Claude in the catalog and copy the MCP server URL, https://mcp.scripe.io/mcp.

  2. Add it in Claude

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste the URL and add it.

  3. Sign in and choose the access

Claude opens Scripe's sign-in. Choose the workspace, then Read-only or Full access, and approve. You can also pick a default profile for tools that work on one.

  4. Check it works

Start a new chat and ask Claude to fetch your Scripe account details.

Read-only lets the assistant look at your content and results. Full access also lets it create and change things, such as writing ideas and drafts or scheduling posts.

Each host's card in the catalog has its own steps. Cursor uses the SSE address https://mcp.scripe.io/sse; other hosts use the first one.

What an assistant can do in Scripe follows your own role, and a workspace that requires review before publishing holds an assistant to that too. See Post status.

API keys and webhooks

Zapier creates an API key for you in one click, and Webhooks and n8n create a webhook from a URL you paste. Copy the key or the signing secret when it is shown: it is not shown again.

To create more keys with other permissions, rename, revoke or rotate them, and to see which apps are connected to the workspace, open Settings → Developer. The available events, the API reference and the MCP tools are in the developer documentation.

Not in this catalog

  • Scripe Clipper is a Chrome extension that saves any web page, post or image into Scripe as an idea, with one click or ⌘⇧S (Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows). It is offered at the top of the Ideas board when you use Chrome or another Chromium browser on a computer, and installs from the Chrome Web Store.
  • Knowledge sources such as Granola, GitHub and Google Drive connect from the knowledge base. See Knowledge base.
