For you

For you gives each profile a list of post ideas that fit what it stands for, each with a short brief that says why the idea should work and which sources it rests on. You keep the ones worth writing and dismiss the rest.

For you is for every reader who writes: the solo creator who wants a topic without searching, the marketer who plans several profiles, the team member who writes for their own profile, the agency preparing each client's month. Agency clients do not see it.

You find For you as the first row of Explore. View all opens the full page, with a Filter (by Source and Format) and a search field. On workspace Explore, the ideas of every profile in scope appear together and each card shows whose idea it is.

Where the ideas come from

Each idea has one of three origins. The Source filter uses the same names.

  • Your topics. For every content topic assigned to the profile, Scripe looks for posts on LinkedIn that did better than their authors usually do, and turns what made them work into ideas for your profile. It writes them against the profile's positioning, its target audience, your knowledge base and the profile's content mix of Reach, Trust and Convert. Topics are set in Strategy.
  • Your sources. When a creator, newsletter, blog, YouTube channel or website you follow publishes something that fits the profile, Scripe turns it into an idea. See Following sources.
  • Your files. Ideas you asked Ask Scripe to generate from a file, a link or text you pasted in.

When new ideas appear

There is no fixed daily or weekly delivery.

  • Topic ideas are rebuilt every 14 days, the next time you open Explore or For you after that. Nothing is rebuilt while you are away. While Scripe works, the page shows Finding fresh ideas….
  • Source ideas arrive whenever a followed source publishes something that fits the profile. A quiet source produces nothing.

There is no button to request new ideas on demand. To get ideas right now, ask Ask Scripe for post ideas, or give it a file or a link.

When a workspace has used most of its weekly AI usage, Scripe keeps showing the ideas it already has and the page says Showing earlier ideas - new ones will follow. New ideas resume once usage allows.

The brief behind an idea

Click a card to open it as a new idea. Everything the card promised is filled in: the title, the angle, the post format and lane, the suggested picture or template, the source article and every profile the idea was suggested for.

Under Why this idea will work, Scripe explains the idea in a few sentences and cites what it rests on. Each citation is marked with its kind and opens the original:

CitationWhat it is
LinkedIn trend, LinkedIn postPosts by other creators that did better than their authors usually do.
Your post, Your resultsYour own posts and how they performed.
Your positioningWhat the profile stands for.
From your sourcesAn article from a source you follow.
From your knowledge baseA passage from your own documents, which grounds the idea in what you know. Open in your knowledge base shows the document.
From your materialThe file or text you gave Ask Scripe.

Numbers in a brief come from those citations. If Scripe could not record its reasoning, the brief says Scripe didn't record its reasoning for this idea.

Above the brief, one sentence explains what the idea's lane is for: Reach gets you seen by new people, Trust shows your expertise, Convert invites the ask.

Keeping an idea

  1. Open the idea

Click the card, or use Add > Add to ideas.

  2. Check the details

Change the title, the profiles or the format if you want. An idea suggested for several profiles opens with all of them selected.

  3. Create it

Press Add idea. A message confirms where it went; View idea opens it. The idea is now on your idea board.

Add > Add to chat instead attaches the idea to Ask Scripe, so you can develop it in a conversation first.

Dismissing an idea

Press the thumbs-down (Not interested). The card disappears and Scripe uses that as a signal for future suggestions on the same topic. Undo in the message brings it back.

Plans

For you is part of every paid plan (Solo, Advanced and Business) and of the free trial. Generating ideas counts toward your weekly AI usage. See Plans.

Edge cases

  • No positioning yet. Explore shows Not sure what to post about? with Set up positioning. Topic ideas need content topics assigned to the profile, which you set up in Strategy; positioning makes them specific.
  • A new profile. The first topic ideas are built the first time you open Explore or For you after the profile has topics. They take a while; the page shows Finding fresh ideas… meanwhile.
  • Several profiles. Each profile has its own ideas. One idea can be suggested for several profiles; it then shows all of them.
  • An agency client does not see For you.
