Running a company page and your colleagues' profiles
This page is for the marketer who runs LinkedIn for a company: the company page plus the profiles of founders, leaders and employees who post as themselves. You get one workspace where the company's strategy and knowledge reach every profile, each person still sounds like themselves, colleagues boost each other's posts, and you report on all of it from one page.
If you are setting the workspace up for the first time, start with A team admin's first day.
How the workspace fits together
| Layer | What it holds | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Workspace | Company and target-audience documents, content topics, branding, the workspace tone of voice | Settings › Strategy, Knowledge, Branding, Tone of Voice |
| Each profile | Its own positioning, tone of voice, content mix, posting times and knowledge folder | The profile's settings |
| Company page | A profile of its own, published through a colleague who administers the page on LinkedIn | Sidebar › Profiles |
Content topics are created once for the workspace and assigned to the profiles they fit. Each assigned profile then gets ideas for that topic in its own For you. See Content strategy.
A profile can override the workspace's target audience, for example a recruiter who writes for candidates rather than buyers. The toggle is in the profile's positioning drawer in the knowledge base.
A typical cycle
Plan the period on the workspace Home
The workspace Home sums every profile's goal for the period. Each missing post is a to-do with the profile's face on it; press it to pick an idea or a draft for that person and lane. See Home.
Collect input from busy colleagues
Leaders rarely have time to write, but they answer questions. Turn on Settings › Content check-in: Scripe saves up its questions about ideas and sends them in one batch per person, in the app, by email or on WhatsApp. You choose who answers for each profile.
Write once, adapt for several profiles
Write the post for one profile, then use Repurpose for other profiles in the editor's menu. Scripe carries over what shaped the post (the chat notes, sources and idea brief) and writes each chosen profile its own draft in that profile's voice. It does not copy the text.
Get approval where it is required
Press Reviewer in the editor to ask the person behind the profile to review the post, with an optional due date. They find it under Waiting for your review on their Home and in the Reviews tab of their notifications. They approve or reject it in the Scripe mobile app. If the workspace turned on Require review workflow (Settings › Post status, Business), Scripe's agent, the chat and the Posts board refuse to schedule or publish a post without an approved review. See When review is required.
Schedule and let colleagues engage
Schedule each post from its editor. With team engagement, colleagues' profiles like and comment on the company page's posts and on each other's. Settings › Engagement sets, per profile and per action, Off, Request (waits for approval) or On.
Report
Analytics on the workspace level shows every profile together, with a Company Page group for the page and a Leaderboard of the team. Filter by profile or team; the URL keeps the view, so you can send it to a colleague. See Analytics.

Edge cases
- The page admin leaves. A company page publishes through a connected user who administers the page on LinkedIn. When that person leaves or their LinkedIn connection lapses, connect another page admin.
- An employee only engages. Give them a Light profile (Business) rather than a Full one: it engages and shows analytics and creates no content.
- Impressions show a dash for a profile. That profile was added by its LinkedIn URL and has no connection of its own. Its public posts and followers still show; private figures need the person to connect LinkedIn.
