The likelihood of just starting to post content is relatively high in today's world. However, it's like running up the mountain without a plan - without Google Maps. ;) Goals are important to define how your ideal mountain peak should look like success - and to ensure you walk in the right direction. The direction you previously set with your Purpose Statement.
In the early days, or when you start from zero, it can be hard to set those goals. Disclaimer: It's not just about hitting numbers and metrics. Create a goal that drives you forward in a measurable way. Then, the way to think about it is to think about the way back from a goal - what is the path there?
The key component from each and every path - no matter what goals you have - is finding consistency. Meaning, sharing authentic, strategic content on a regular basis. That's why the baseline of each long-term goal is the number of posts you aim to share per month.
An example goal to start could be: To publish 2 posts per week for 3 months straight. Additionally, set a goal to find a habit in your content creation routines and adjusting your content strategy until you feel fully comfortable.
Successful personal brands - just like mountaineers 😊 - often start with a small goal, figure it out, and then scale. Besides all goals, the most important thing is to maintain authenticity in your posts. Once you get to that first mountain peak and follow your purpose statement, there's no limit to how fast you can grow.
